I've used a Filson tin cloth waterfowl cap. It's waxed tan canvas and lined with dense olive green wool. Real versitile, durable, and warm hat. Just love it. And the wax darkens the tan canvas giving it the perfect shade of dark khaki that blends in real well with November/December cattails and reeds.
