dont own a pair but i have heard mixed reviews on them. Everything ive heard about cabelas has been good though. I do like the mack's style better though. I plan on picking up pair at some point.

Maybe nobody reading this forum has them. Try searching this forum for breathable waders. You might find the information you need in another thread on the same topic. I know there have been several over the last few years.

I'd like to know if this Macksimum Seam Sealer works well - makes sense. Cabela's does me good - but now days their China Made Waders are not going to last for active hunters. I'm sure that's why they've changed the policy on Life Time Warranty. Perhaps our duck hunters, using MPW Waders, just don't post on these wader threads anymore.

Does breathable basically mean uninsulated? I know they are thin and more like nylon vs neo...

I tried a pair a few yrs back, brand new took them to ND they leaked the first time out and made for a long week of drying them out after every hunt sent them back for a refund, was a cabelas fan before but I liked the 1000 gram boots now I'm back to cabelas and never looked back

Cabelas Breathables have served me well as I've used them here in the Pacific flyway and in Canada . I perfer them with
fleece wader pants as I hunt on my knees alot in water and on land in the tules . I go through a pair about every 3 years but ,
I like the freedom of (not) being wrapped-up in neoprene .

Aqua-seal is your friend , take it hunting every trip , though !

I'm on my 3rd season with a pair. No leaks and haven't been cold, but being in California, it's never really that cold anyway. I got them by accident. A hunting partner bout the stouts and didn't like the fit.

I have the Cabelas breathables as well and with the fleece wader pants I have yet to be cold. I will only wear my lacrosse if its going to be frozen up.

I am on my 4th season with the 2010 Breathables, 3rd season on a pair of Big Ditch. The Big ditch only gets 3-4 uses during the season, the breathables about 60+

No complaints from me.
