I have a double head heater on 20lb tank. Where we hunt we get there sometimes 8 hrs before. My question is how much ventililation is needed in a boat blind. The blind is a pop up but I put a tarp over it to hold in heat. Is leaving one end open enough? both ends? and would a carbon monoxide detector be useful? We sleep sometimes and I just worry about sleeping with heater on. Thanks

Mr. Buddy brand propane heaters recommends an eighteen square inch (pretty small) fresh air source even though they are advertised as "ventless". I would definitely be safe rather than sorry and provide for a small ventilation input as a precaution. I assume you are using one of the Buddy heaters?
