Shotgun Mount for Emerson HD Action Cam

Postby talkinfowl » Wed Dec 25, 2013 9:29 am

Hey, I recently received an Emerson HD Action camera as a cheaper alternative to a go pro. Is there any way I can attach this like a go pro to my shotgun? I like the mounts at the end of the forearm that show the side of the barrel

I would try a head strap mount. I tried the gun mount on my go pro but every time I would shoot the recoil would point the camera backwards.

Plus you can record without having to point your shotgun around

Yeah I "fabbed" something up using zip ties and half of the bike handlebar mount and it's holding fine, but like you say, it tilts the camera backwards just a little with every shot.

Same issue with the Emerson mount. I'm going to just take the mount apart and glue the hell out of it...then put it back together. I've only used it twice and it seems like an ok camera.....for the price.
