Does anyone have any experience with this jacket? How warm is it? Should I just go ahead and upgrade to an LST jacket? any help is appreciated. Thanks

I'm not a fan of 3-1 parka. IMO I would get a waterproof jacket that isn't bulky and a nice warm coat. To me the 3-1 is waaay too bulky

And make sure you layer properly. Etc. Wool base layer then fleece and wind blocking and then rain proof. Add a 2nd fleece insulating layer if still cold or a down vest. At 20 degrees I was wearing a thin wool shirt and pants with fleece base layer over it and a thin wind proof jacket and I was warm

I bought one before this season and I have been happy with it. Here in California the weather is pretty mild, and we didn't get rain this year. But on the colder mornings it was plenty warm, and I got a size bigger so that I can layer underneath it if need be. The jacket also has lot of pocket space.

Thanks for all the input. I hunt in northwest Tennessee and Arkansas so the weather varies. One week it may be lows in the high 30's and the next week the lows may be in the low teens. I need a jacket that is function able in a variety of temperatures
