which shotgun sling

Postby Honk-n-quack » Fri Jan 10, 2014 12:26 pm

I'm headed to Cabelas later today and intend to buy a sling for my shotgun. I was thinking about getting the claw sling but a friend suggested a neoprene sling. What do you guys use or recommend

I have the claw sling in max-4 and love it. Never slips even when wet and seems to hold up well to the elements.

It really doesn't matter on brand. I don't like neoprene gun slings. Make sure you find one that is rubber on the inside as it will grip your coat a lot better.

Personally I stopped running a sling on my duck gun as it just got in the way.

I have though favored the Ultra sling2 I believe it is called. I think its the best sling out there just a web style sling.

I also think that the Claw slings and neoprene slings suck.

The Claw........... I take slings off while hunting unless I need to hang my gun though.
