I was going to say that you should never wear gloves when blowing a duck call.
I don't. The hand warmer pouch in my waders gets lots of use warming calls and hands.

I hate wearing gloves. I won't use anything till it gets real cold.

When it gets cold I use Hyperflex brand wetsuit gloves for setting up, long boat rides and messing with decoys. You can get them in 3mm or 5mm neoprene. They are also coated with sealskin which is a super thin rubber coating. They are totally waterproof and keep your fingers super toasty. They only cost $30 for a pair. I started using these because I already owned them from being a surfer in my younger years. I usually get two seasons out of a pair.

I refuse to ever wear a glove on my right hand when calling or shooting no matter how cold it gets.

I like to use a heavy duty muff.

When settin decoys in water I use the olive drab gauntlet style gloves . Got them at the BIG R. Best gloves I own . When in the field or in the blind I have a nice pair of goretex realtree gloves from bass pro .

Truly Water proof is key for me when buying gloves .
