54 inch gun case

Postby wjarrell » Sat Feb 22, 2014 12:51 pm

Does it exist? Maybe I don't need one that long but my 10 gauge is 50 inches long and if my stock chokes don't pattern worth a darn then I will go to after market chokes which will make it 50.5 to 51.5. My Drake case says it's 52 inches long but my Silver with a 26 inch barrel and 1/2 extended choke tube only has a inch or so of room. Any suggestions?

My silver with an extended choke fits snugly into cabelas northern flight floating case. It's tight, but it makes it.

I've only had it one season though, I'm curious to see if it starts coming apart as other have.

I believe tangle free makes a 54" at rogers. I will be buying it this spring when they restock.

The Banded line of products has several cases that are 54" I just purchased the floating Fowl Life version and my Versamax (28" barrel) with 1 1/2" extended choke tube fits easily.

Avery makes a 55 inch floating case that works good for me.
I hope someday someone remembers this old dog with kindness and gives me to a puppy.

I have one and will say I like it, but I can't vouch for the test of time as I have only had it for a year. It fits my sp 10 with a 30" barrel.
