Shoulder Bag for ammo/light accessories only

Postby JWG » Sat Mar 08, 2014 12:25 pm

I have an old Redhead bag that is on its last leg. I would like something like it(shoulder bag that was split down middle to separate shells er whatever with zippered cover and a flap with magnetic clasp and a latch, hope that sorta makes sense) that wasn't huge. 4 boxes of shells was about max and the flap had a mesh screen I put tools in. Anyone know of something like this?

Drake makes a decent shoulder bag. It's not split, but shell boxes fit well in the bottom with other gear on top.

It also has a clear plastic pocket on the underside of the flap.

It doesn't have all of the features you're looking for, but it may fit the bill...

Yeah I think that might be the one but that clear plastic seems like a bad idea. I can see it cracking but I think that could be an easy fix. Any others

Avery Guide Bag, if they still make 'em.

I've got one, and the clear part hasn't had an issue. I try not to get it wet though...

Yeah either way I thought there'd be more options? I like some of these bigger ones but thats the last thing I need, just something for shells/oil a couple tools and a take down cleaning rod

Not much out there in regards to options for a shoulder bag.

Let us know if you find something.

Definitely close to what I want-Will keep my eyes open. Wish they made the same bag I had, guess I'm just too use to it.

Avery makes a nice shoulder bag for $30.

Holds 12 shells in loops. I pack....

Gloves x2
Beanie
Leatherman
Folding knife
First aid kit
Chokes
Duck tote
Headlamp

Also store cell, wallet, keys etc. I walk in hunt so it's great to throw over a shoulder man purse style

Give try to LV bags and I am sure you will find something greater than your expectations. I am also shopping from this brand since long time and always recommend it to my friends.

Drake makes a WMA bag. I think that's what they call it. Designed for three or five boxes of shells and a few other items. Might give it a look.
