Are you just going to use it for duck hunting? Will you be running it on lakes, big rivers, marshes?

I have a 16' boat with a 45 HP engine & console, more than enough to cruise out to the duck blind on the lakes I hunt. Even with a strong head wind and white caps. After pushing the boat through the ditches of flooded fields where the motor wasn't needed in West TN on a couple of hunts, I'd trade that 45 for a 25, stick steer.

If you hunt on a big river where HP is required, you'll need more than a 25.

Just my opinion
