Herters Waders

Postby Webfoot12 » Thu Jun 09, 2005 10:50 am

I just bought a pair of Herters 5mm spantough waders and was wondering if anyone else has a pair of Herters? I'm 5'11" and about 185 and I wear a size 10.5 shoe. I originally ordered the waders in size 11. Shoe was a little big but the waders are really tall. So I returned them and got a size 10. Boot is still a little big but they are still too tall.

I probably should have went to the store to try them on but did not. I ordered them from Cabelas online on sale. Just wondering if they are all tall like that or should I try a different brand? I got them in Max4 and it matches my coat great. Most of the time I will be hunting from a boat so it may not matter.

Thanks
Rest in peace my friend... Mocha- Jan 20th, 2001-Feb 1st, 2009.

Palmer, any problems with the super mags? I've had durability problems with the ultimate waders in the past.

Na i've had mine for 2 years and they've never leaked and i've never had a problem staying warm even in the coldest temps. Also they are tough very durable, and for you big guys they make them for big and tall.
