Carlson's Choke Tubes

Postby tr-7 » Wed Nov 04, 2009 10:18 am

Where is the cheapest place to purchase Carlson's Chokes?

Or does anyone know of a comparable for less money? I have a Bakail o/u that I didn't pay too much for, but it definetely needs some sort of chokes for steel shot. A guy at Carlson's suggested their Tru-Choke extended sporting clay chokes. One improved and one modified. But by the I buy two of them it will have costed more than half the guns worth.

This is just a beater gun that I use for waterfowling. Any suggestions?

Well carlsons are the cheapest aftermarket tubes i know of, and my personal favorite to run. There price is the same online as it is in a local store for me, so i have never seen them cheaper than there online store. There customer service is the best from what i have heard as well.

Do yourself a favor and get their tubes. You will not be dissapointed.

Great tubes that perfom well. You will not be disappointed.

Thanks guys, I guess I will be going with these.
As far as the flush mount tubes, I guess what is the difference?
The guy at Carlson's suggested the extend version.

extended tubes have a longer cone and it "eases" the shot out the end instead of just wadding it up real quick. This aids especially with bigger shot.

Call Carlson direct and they will treat you wright. They are a very good choke for the money. I have a combo that I use in my Vinci that is deadly. I would not use anything else in mt Benelli's. :grooving:

I would also recommend the carlson's choke tubes. I have a long range and mid range extended and they put out awesome patterns.
