I have a 935, and I was just wondering what kind of choke you are using for Ducks? In my gun right now I have the factory IC, and I am wondering if I should switch to the Modified or stay with the IC.

pattern both to find out which one works best in your gun. Use shells that you are going to hunt with.

Patterning is a good thing :withstupid: I use use the IC when they're decoying in close, 20yd. and under. Past that, I switch to the mod. tube out to 45 yd.

I have both the short and extended range Patternmaster which work really great, but have found that I hit more birds with the IC inside 30 yds, and MOD outside 30 yds. I made some really long hits with the Patternmaster, but they were fewer and farther between, in other words my shooting stinks! But I already have a plan to address that, can you say P R A C T I C E?

I have the 935 and have purchased all of their chokes. I like to shoot ducks with a full choke. Most of the shots I get are 35 + yrds. If it was early I use to shoot with a mod or IC because the teal are crusing, but I would miss the opprotunity on a mallard or larger ducks flying out of reach. If your lucky enough to have them within 20 yrds go IC. I also got Mossy's X-Factor choke for geese. Check that one out.
