Just got this 3 1/2 today. i put 75 shells thru it however within the first ten shots three or four shells didnt want to fly out causing it to jam. i got very frustrated because while i was paying off this gun ive seen people talking about it jamming. however after the third or fourth jam it didnt happen again for the rest of the 75 shots. i was shooting Estate Game and Target Load-2 3/4"-1oz shot-8shot.... we'll see what happens as i shoot more

Ive had one for a couple of weeks. Clean the packing grease off good and don't shoot anything lighter than 1 1/8 oz. shells and it does fine. I'd stay away from the 1 oz., at least until it gets a decent number of heavy shells run through it.

I've also heard some mixed reports about the gun. The biggest thing is it just is a sweet swinging gun! Kinda surprised it was kicking any 1 OZ loads, but not unbelievable. I know its different any time you see a pic of a gun but did they brighten up MAX-4 er whatever its called? Either way, keep us all updated on yer A-5's performance fellas

I got mine in Max 4. I like everything about it so far. It's light and points awesome. The only thing that I would change is to lose the duratouch. I've heard some bad things about how it holds up over time and with normal abuse. That's only minor though, if it starts to give me trouble ill have it taken off and the forearm and stock dipped.

my x3 is black and dura touch did come off on the pistol grip in a couple tiny spots, but I think it was scratched off on a couple steel posts in a blind. but i'm just like you, rather just have camo. pointability and operation is what counts of course, and i know this thing points for me.
pluckinduck or duckbuster06, ya see any with 30" barrels?

My 3" gun will handle 1oz loads fine, if they are loaded 1250 - 1300fps. A buddy tried shooting some 1145fps factory loads thru it aand it failed every time.Since it is a "recoil" operated gun, you probably won't be able to shoot "light" target loads, or will experience problems such as you've mentioned.

Haven't seen any with 30" barrels yet. All I've seen are the 28".
