My younger brother has a tristar 3.5 semi auto he got from a guy at a gun show for $300. I've used it a few times and I really like it. It's light, low recoil, and pretty accurate. The only problem we had was it was not cycling shells through but we cleaned it and oiled it and it shoots flawlessly. If I ever find one for a good deal, I'll probably buy it. On a side note, he shoots left handed and handles it very well. He's very inexperienced in waterfowl hunting but last season he was pulling off a lot of 2 shot doubles. He seems to get back on target very quickly after the first shot. It patterns very well with 3in #2 Xperts with a modified factory choke. He's dropped geese and a swan with it. I like that it will cycle the light 2 3/4 dove loads and the 3.5 loads.
A BAD DAY AT THE MARSH BEATS A GOOD DAY AT WORK.
