Xtrema 2 not cycling shells

My gun is not cycling shells... I have to physically eject the shell before I can fire a again.... Why is this? ..... BTW I was shooting pirmer blank 2 3/4 shells for dog training

Try cleaning the gun and make sure it is assembled properly, check the O-rings in the forearm. Xtrema2's are excellent guns.

Could it have something to do with the extremely light load?

Yes!
That and or light load and unclean combined!
XT2's will usually cycle dirty or not, but a good old fashioned cleaning and lubricating is worth a try.
It is a gas operated system hidden under that long narrow forearm.....it either is not getting enough gas to cycle that action, is blocked by crud, or both!
I have done so much for so long with so little, I am now qualified to do anything with nothing!
