Hi everyone. I'm new here. Great site. Anyways I recently got my hands on a used wingmaster. It had the old style corn cob foregrip. I called remington to run the serial number and they told me its was made in 1958. The barrel code matches the age so it seems the the entire gun is stock and original. It is in almost perfect shape. What do you guys think its worth? Does age add any value?

Anywhere from $300-$450 depending on condition and grade. I've seen some for $500 but usually they're a special edition or trap grade in pristine shape. Realistically for a standard field model in "perfect shape" $350-$375.

I have a 1951 model like you describe. I would say about $350 with a plain barrel. You are limited to 2 3/4" shells of course. Vent rib barrel will bring about $50 more.
