WHEW!! Picked up a NIB Beretta 3901 tonight!!!

Postby glen1978 » Tue Nov 05, 2013 10:58 pm

Been poking around looking for another 390/3901 and happen to find one new in the box, never shot 3901 synthetic! Im stoked....just had to share. I think these are one of if not the best shotguns ever and for the price you cant touch them. Ive seen several USED ones on gunbroker and they want nearly $900 for em.....WOW!! Anyway just happy, happy, happy!

Where did you find it? Did they have anymore? There is always someone looking for one.

Congrats, you bought what I consider the best duck gun Beretta ever offered.

Naw, no more. There was a few more on there for good prices. One was wood stock that I inquired about but have not yet heard back. May be sold already.

Didnt you just sell a 390 not long ago?

I purchased a new one about 3 years ago for $587 at a local gunshop. 12 gauge, 28 inch, black synthetic, use the factory mod choke but has 2 others supplied. Great duck gun, very pleased with it. Have 2 other Beretta auto's for clays, 391 sporting, and upland, 391 field.

Yeah I found one last year still at a Walmart in East Texas. Same thing....28" bbl, 3 chokes. Believe it was the same price. According to markings it was made in 2009....lol.

I absolutely love mine. I have the 3901 in Max 4 that I got from Bud's for a great price. You guys may have luck trying there. I agree that it is an excellent duck gun. It takes all the abuse I throw at it and keeps coming back for more.

The best part about Berettas is they don't do the Binelli" click".

Do the new beretta a400 models have the bennieli click since they have the rotating head.

No idea on the new Berettas. I just bought another 3901 this week so I have two on the way as we speak. One I currently shoot is on its first season so I should be GTG for about 2 lifetimes. Two NIB 3901's for $985!
