Beretta a300 outlander! Please help

Postby MSduckslayer2013 » Wed Nov 06, 2013 10:15 pm

I need help deciding on two shotguns. One is a new beretta a300 outlander in max 4 and the other is a used one in black synthetic! The black Is $500 and I can get that this weekend hopefully! But the max 4 is $800 and is would have to wait next week or maybe even miss the duck opener and get it the day after the opener.... Should I go with the used one in black synthetic??

That's up to you bud. Definitely don't "settle" for the synthetic just to have a gun sooner. You'll more than likely regret it later.

To save $300 get the black one. Camo shotguns are simply a gimmick to get hunters to spend $.
Really, most of the time only the tip of your barrel is hanging out of the pit or blind. I have killed more game with un-camouflaged shotguns and 2.75" shells... save your money for GAS TO SCOUT BIRDS.

Nov 22? you gots plenty of time. The standard pricing on new ones around here is $650 for the black syn and $750 for the camo. I would imagine you could find them for less.

As usual... Betty is correct!
If you sit still and keep your face down, you'll be fine. But what do I know, I shoot an 870.
I went into the woods because I wished to live deliberately, to front only the essential facts of life, and see if I could not learn what it had to teach, and not, when I came to die, discover that I had not lived.
