My local gundealer will trade a new camo Extrema with 24" barrel and 5 chokes for my 2 year old ES100 and a prestine Beretta 301 shotgun. Does this sound like a good deal? I never use the 301 but I really like my Pintail. I have read a lot of good things on here about the Beretta Extrema's and the 3.5" chamber is a plus.
I shoot ducks, should the short 24" barrel be of concern to me? Or is it fine for the ducks?

I personally would keep what you got. You don't need the 3.5 in chamber. All that does is encourage longer shots. Keep wwhat you got. I got an extrema for the 3.5 in chamber, but can count on one hand the number of 3.5 shells I've shot. I wish I would've only bought a 3in gun.
