I cant explain it, maybe someone can help. When I sit down in the blind or in some bushes to hide I load in my three shells, 3 or 3 1/2 inchers and then sit and wait. I have brought the gun up on ducks three times, taken off the safety, and pulled the trigger and all I hear is a click.
Any help would be appreciated
I just happened upon your message regarding the “click” misfire of your SBE II. I had the same problem on a number of occasions while goose hunting; frustrating to say the least. While the Benelli instruction booklet is one of the best on the market, it nevertheless can be vague at times.
After you’ve loaded all three shells into the gun, and closed the bolt, press the “special carrier control button” on the side of the gun. (See picture 15, on page 10, of the instruction booklet) This ensures that the red dot on the “cartridge drop lever” is clearly visible. (I figured this out from step 1 of the Loading Procedure on page 12 of the instruction booklet). After doing this, I have never had the misfire ‘click’ again.
Do as you wish . . . just do it with love.
