Benelli SBE II & Patternmaster?

Postby jackal99 » Thu Feb 03, 2005 12:50 pm

Is there a patternmaster choke made specifically for the SBE II or will the regular Benelli Patternmaster fit? I have noticed that a lot of turkey chokes are being made specifically for the the SBE II apart from the other Benellis. Does anyone out there have one on their SBE II? Does it screw down far enough into the gun because the crio chokes I believe are longer than the ones on the SBE I. I'm thinking about getting one for mine that is why I ask this. Thanks for the input ahead of time.

The regular PM will not fit in the SBE II. As of right now I do not think they have one ,but, I'm sure that will be changed before next season.

Briley is making Crio X2 chokes and Terror is making Crio chokes as well.
I have 2 X2's and a .675 Terror for duck/geese and a .655 Terror for Turkeys. The Crio .655 throws awesome rifle like, dense patterns.

There is a choke for a SBE 2. I had some problems myself. DO not get the Benelli. You have to get the Beretta Optima PM. It fits the SBE 2. I called and that is what they told me. My buddy and I picked some up today and shot them. Works great.
