I gave them the barrel code and they said it was likely the original barrel but couldn't confirm. The gun is in 9.5/10 condition. There is no wear on the blueing and the wood is almost perfect. Do you guys think there is any value to this gun or is it just another 870?
I have a 1951 model in pristine condition. It has a plain 26" IC barrel and the barrel date code matches the receiver. Best guess on value is around $400, maybe a bit more. They are a fine gun but there are literally millions of used one's out there. BTW, I traded a Mossy 500 with 20" barrel even for it. One of my better trades.
