What Kind of Gun do I own???

Postby milo » Wed Feb 23, 2005 10:15 pm

Guys I need some help. My grandfather just recently passed away and my mother found an old gun in his house in which she passed on to me. I am not sure what kind of gun it is. Need some help. Here is the info.

The gun is a twelve gauge side by side double barrell with the name Wards Triumph model 52 on it. Who made this gun, how old is it, and what might it be worth. I also found a bunch of boxes of shells that are the paper shells instead of the plastic. Are they worth anything. Thanks for the help.

Milo

Dont know about the shot gun But the shell boxes... may be worth something to a collector if their in good shape try E-Bay but dont try to sell the shells with them they will ban your ad.

Yeah but I will have to look it up again. If you dont have someone that knwo around you look up on the web there are several you can fill in your info about the gun and they will email you back about the info and price.

Shotgun is basically a Savage or Stevens Model 311. In this part of the country one in good shape is a 275 to 300 dollar gun at tops. Good robust shotgun with 2.75" loads.
