I have six shotguns and i was wondering if that was normal for the average person. Feedback would be greatly appreciated.

About 30 guns total with I think 12 shotguns. This is about normal for the average hard-core competitive shooters and hunters that I know. Probably above average for the casual hunter.
More ammo! I need to shoot something!

I'm in with Thaner.....overall guns in my cabinets are about 30.....most are shotguns of various gauges and actions....a few .22 rifles, a high-power rifle and ahlf doz handguns (also various calibers and actions)....I have never found a need to trade since my guns are well maintained....would rather add than delete. Every firearm has a purpose and may not get used in any one season....but I have it if I need it!

I have a 22, 2 shotguns, a 270, and a bow. That will soon be 3 shotguns, because I'm in the market for an O/U.

You can never have too many guns! Unfortunately I don't have near as many as I would like to. I have a 12-ga, 16-ga, 410-ga, .308, 40 cal, a compound bow and a recurve. I also have access to all of my daddy's guns (he has a lot more), but now that I'm out of the house the aren't exactly an arms length away. That's why i just have to get some more.
If the hunting is cold, luckily so is the beer!
