It's a recoil operation very similar to the original SBE except in 3in. Very good guns from all I've heard over the years.

Wood stock or synthetic? My dad has the last year they made it in wood and the value has skyrocketed since he bought it. Check into it. Awesome gun to shoot! Wish I had one.

SYNTHETIC. IVE HEARD THE VALUE IS GOOD. I'M JUST DEBATING ON KEEPING IT OR SELLING AND GET ANOTHER BENELLI M2. HAVENT SHOT IT DONT KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT IT. THANK YOU

The ES 100 was made in Spain and imported to the U S for a few years. It got mixed reviews and read dropped. It is a hard kicker like most inertia guns.

I shot a Pintail for a few years before going to the SBE. It was a very reliable shotgun that worked every time I pulled the trigger. I loved it's presentation and it was one of those shotguns that just felt right. There was a time when it was affectionately referred to as the 3-inch SBE.
