speaking from my personal experiences with the 835 UltiMag, i can say that you will have a hard time finding a better pump gun for the money. yeah, it's clunky, heavy, shoulders like a 4 foot section of 2x4, and will probably have some sort of mechanical issue or another at some time in it's life, but for 200 bucks..what do you want? i killed lots of ducks, grouse, quail, doves, and pheasants with it. it got beat up, dropped in the mud, dogs sleeping on it, anchors tossed on it, used for a paddle, and even saw duty as a walking stick once or twice. it rarely let me down.
i am picking up a stoeger condor supreme O/U 20ga with 28" barrels tomorrow. this will be the first stoeger that i have owned and am looking forward to it. i have picked up a few in gun stores and liked the feel. i hope it shoots as good as it looks.
i have shot a Benelli SBE on a sporting clay course. if the Stoeger 2000 operates as good as the SBE (they have the same internal components) then i would have to give a big thumbs up to that gun too.
