I can get both of them for the same price brand new. Which one should I grab?

If they both feel good, the Xtrema2 has a long list of happy hunters.

Buy 'em both. Use them both. Determine which one you like the best. Sell me the other one.

I do not own an A400 Xtreme, however, I have been shooting a A391 Xtrema 2 for the last 4 years and I can say that the gun just never quits. In the 4 years that I have been shooting it I have never had one FTF or FTC. I also shoot it occasionally at trap or sporting clays and again the above applies, not one FTF or FTC. I can highly recommend the Xtrema 2.

I went with the xtreme, but have noticed this problem.

When y'all go to unload your beretta a400's and pull the bolt back very quickly, does it tend to "slip" or lose grip on the shells, especially when trying to unload 3.5's? My a400 xplor had this problem, and now I see that my a400 xtreme does the same thing. I shot about 75 1/8 oz #8's saturday and a handful of 3" #2's with the xtreme and had not one single problem though. I was very pleased.

Nope just tried a federal HD ounce and 5/8's. Try a different brand of shell. Does not really sound like a problem though.

I had tried some federal 3.5 inch buck shot and that's what wouldn't cycle. I then tried remington #4 3.5's and they cycled fine. I guess ill never really know until i shoot it
