Whichever one fits the best. Both are solid guns. I just can't spend $1500 on an ugly gun so that rules out the SuperVinci for me

Yeah whichever feels better for you. I have the SV and love it. No issues whatsoever with it yet. But SBE2 are nice guns too. Was looking at that one but finally went with the SV because fewer people had one. Didn't want the same gun that everyone else seemed to have. But that's me. And it also fits me perfectly.

You can make almost any gun fit you, however the way it feels to YOU is most important. This "feel" is controled by the guns size, shape, weight and balance. My go to gun is my HkSBE. The Vinci is not worth considering in my opinion due to its being so ugly. When choosing a wife, I am sure that ugly did no fit into the equasion. The SBE is at the top of the list when it comes to feel.

But Chris , you didn't get the over-bored barrel that the Vinci's have now ? and

It has been proven , over-boring is better for larger shot sizes , right ?

It's not the Bow or the Arrow thing BUT , You can't change UGLY........I agree ! :lol3: :lol3:

One of my close friends have a super vinci and he actually wishes that he had gotten the SBE2...so there's that for ya.

But as it's been said earlier, whatever gun fits you

I thought the SV was ugly at first like most people, but the more I looked at it and then shouldered it a few times the prettier she got! I know, awwww, right? But it has been a great gun and I have no regrets in buying it.

I feel the same way I think that the super Vinci has a good look to it.

Neither one. You can get a soft shooting versatile gas gun for much less.

Get a Winchester SX3 or Remington Versamax. The Vinci is ugly and overpriced and the SBE will stomp you with heavy loads.

I've been shooting a pump shotgun with 3 1/2 loads so I think I can handle it and I'm a benelli kind of guy and they keep cleaner then gas guns.

Never understood why a person can list the 2 guns he's trying to decide between after narrowing his list to the 2 he wants, yet somebody is gonna try to convince them to buy a different gun. Some folks don't like gas guns. I'm not a fan myself due to more cleaning and most gas guns feel like you're swinging and shouldering a 4x4 post due to the forearms being so thick. I know there are some great gas guns. But I prefer inertia like the original poster does. Only thing better than inertia is a long recoil gun imo

I own both, used them equally last season. Both great guns. I'd say the Vinci is more reliable and easier to maintain. The SBE2 fits me better though. Both great guns, I'd say get whichever one fits you best. If fit is equal, go with the SV.

I had a super vinci and have an sbe. My super vinci shot very high so I sold it and got a beretta a400 xtreme. Perhaps I just got a lemon. Also the sbe was far more reliable with light loads. Just my $.02

The only gas gun I have ever liked was a berretta 390. We actually have 2 in 20ga and my dad is still shooting his 12 that my mom got him as a wedding gift 26 years ago.

As for me, I have a left handed sbe2. Love the gun, and it fits great. If benelli ever get their head on straight and offer a SV in left handed I may just have to bring it home with me also. Go with whichever fits you better, I'm sure you will be happy with either.

Side note they have very good customer service as well. I talked to them yesterday about how I felt my recoil spring was waring out and how the nut that holds the recoil spring in the recoil tube was getting pretty worn down. Their exact words to me were "No problem, both parts will be on your door step in 2 weeks free of charge....if you ever need to send it back we only have our customers pay for shipping to us."
