Browning Silver and Winchester sx3 20 gauge input

Postby cyclonefan » Thu May 29, 2014 5:43 am

I am looking for some input on these guns in 20 gauge models, any issues that I need to think about. Thanks

They are the same gun.

FNH makes them for both "companies".

Both are quality guns. I went with the M2 Benelli 20ga. the last time I bought a semi auto 20ga. It just really felt that much better to me than the other 2. Another idea would be to find a used Browning Gold 20. My wife uses one and its a heckuva good shooter

Yes, mechanically they are the same gun. Esthetically, the SX3 is head and shoulders above the Silver.
I looked at both guns, side by side, when I went to buy. I hated to give up the Browning name at the time, but bought the SX3 based on it handsome looks (I know, that's subjective) and have not been sorry.

The biggest issue is they are to lite, fast, and soft shooting. You will hate them, especially if one of them fit you good like the sx-3 which comes with cast and length adjustments. Defiantly don't waste you time with either of them

Oh ya and they are not cool because they are not one those expensive benelli or beretta guns, just think what people would think of you if you didn't go with one of them
