SHOTGUN GURUS

Postby Smackaduck » Mon Feb 11, 2008 9:03 pm

Im posting this here so I can make a shadow. I want to make sure its seen. Anyway I am needing some info on a shotgun. I have googled and found a little but hoping some collectors or specialists may know a little more and maybe a price.

It is a Vincenzo Bernardelli made for Chares Daly.

12 Ga hammerless Double Barrel

Supposedly from the mid 1960s.

You may know about this but try www.shotgunworld.com. Some of the folks on there can be pains about their "B" guns but most of them are pretty knowledgeable or can point you right.

since the early sixties charles daly guns were made by miroku until 1976. Most of these guns were sold to browning. Charles Daly's noramatic shotgun were made in 1968 by Breda in italy. current shotguns were made by breda in milan 1976 to present. . what's the model number and describe the checkering stock sheen ect. and I can give you a accurate answer. The only side by side I can find is the superior grade, comes in 12 or 20 ga boxlock with various chokes.and single trigger. discontinued in 1985. 100 % worth about $500. and then there is the luxe model. 12 or 20 ,boxlock, SST ejectors 26 inch barrel checkered pistol grip, choke tubes, and a semi beaver tail forearm. this gun was new in 1990 and made in spain 100 % condition $600 . this is what I would think your gun is. So its not from the '60s if its a VBernadelli gun. so what this comes down to is if you have a single selective trigger. If you do have a SST. its a new gun.

Not a single selective trigger. It has double triggers. Short barrels Id say 26 with fixed chokes. Not a lot of checkering If I remember Ill have to try and get some pics. It was a customer of mine who asked me If I wanted to buy it yesterday but she wanted 700.
