rifled choke tube for mossberg model 500?

Postby mallardman77 » Sat Jul 02, 2005 11:00 am

i would like to use my 500 for deer hunting this year, but don't want to drop the $$ into a slug barrel. Does somebody make a rifled choke tube?
And if so, do they work? I find foster style rifled slugs aren't as accurate as i would like and would like to shoot a sabot slug. Any info would be appreciated Thanks.

Im pretty sure you can get those chokes from Cabelas. And from my understanding, they do their job......spin the slug

As far as the slugs. I have always had good luck w/ "Brenneke"
Slugs......Really high quality/accurate slugs
