OK guys, i'm just wondering what works for everyone! i'm partial to 3's if I had to shoot only one size.....YOU? -Chris

2 are my favorite, but i also shoot BB.

I like two's. I tried out the three's and thought they did really well this past year.

When I shoot fasteel I like 2's, and for hevi-shot I like 4's. I'm gonna try out the 6 this year and see how I like it.

For ducks i use 4's. Geese i use BB.
The group ended up with 420 birds.

Weve only just had to adopt steel here and I started of with mod size 2.
Now shoot 3's with impmod. Getting good kills on any thing from swan to shoveler.

3" 3's 1 1/4 oz through a mod choke for ducks
3 1/2" #2's 1 1/2 oz for geese, same choke

I prefer to use BB. Use em on ducks and geese so I don't have a load of different shells in my vest. I like the knock down power as well, I never have to worry about cripples. I will use 2 and 4 when I am hunting rivers and most of my shots are going to pretty close.

Remington Nitro Steel, 3" mag.
BB, 1 1/4 oz w/Carlson long range extended choke for geese.
#2, 1 1/4 oz w/Carlson mid range extended choke for ducks.

If I had to pick only one shot size it would be BB to handle geese and ducks. Seems like it would be a bit much on Ruffed Grouse but so is a 375 H&H Magnum.

Hi Mongo , I used Remington 11/8 3" 2's faststeel with impmod choke works fine patterns well at 30m ,very clean on the barrel ! :thumbsup:
Its our first season down under with steel as kiwismakebetterlovers was saying ,lots of people complaining but to be honest it hasnt been too bad!!!
Just got to get them in closer. :salude:
