Scheels $9.99 a box. Just cut open a #3, 185 pellets. Nice looking polished shot too.

Wow nice price point. Please post up your pattern info when you guys get done if you would. Sounds very interesting. I have never had any bad experiences with Fiocchi yet.

Is it really 1 1/5th or is it 1 1/4? That is a good price and some good speed if it is 1 1/4.
Why do I shoot 3.5" for geese? Because they don't make a 4" yet!

I guess Scheels doesn't sell ammo online. Anyone have a link to a retailer that does? I used Fiocchi several yrs ago and it was good stuff, but didn't have plated shot. Components were top notch and pellets were uniform and round.

Scheels must not sell ammo through the mail- being from Maine, we don't have one around here. I'm wondering if this is an exclusive item for them made by Fiocchi as no other retailers appear when you Google "Fiocchi Max Steel"???

If we had a Scheels around here, or I could order the stuff, I'd be stocking up! That looks like a great price on a great shell!

After using 1/2 of a mixed case of 2's and 3's on ducks last season I am switching over to these loads for everything this fall and snows next spring. You can also find the same loads under the Dakota country name, loaded for Runnings farm & fleet stores in the upper Midwest.

Wow. This new stuff excites me.
Ill tell ya this from experience, i watched several birds (specks, snows) die at 60+ yards from a patternmaster SBEI shooting cheap Fiocci #1's. It was two years ago and I thought Fiocci was nothing more than a relative to Xperts. I was way wrong. It was no fluke! Shot some myself since and I shoot the regular 3" 3's until about Dec 1 at mixed bag ducks. Great success and very affordable.

@The Drake i would be very interested to see a close up picture of the pellets if all possible?

Fiocci is one of the loads I haven't tested yet. I have friends and family that started using it about three years ago and they all speak very highly of this brand. They mostly use #2 and BB for Geese over decoys in the fields. I don't know if that helps any or not,but it is the only info I have at this time.

That's 71 percent out of a nominal full choke, right?

Yep......the .014 constriction factory extended gave me 55%..........With Federal Blue Box #1 1400fps 1 1/4oz the .700 Terror gave me 86% at 40 yards.

I dont really go by constriction with Terror's as they are different.

Yeah, I get mid 80's out of my Carlson Mid Range with Fed blue box #2 same load. Nothing else comes close for some reason.

Probably not on the website as they only load steel max for scheels and Dakota country for runnings.
