We already did it several years ago..here's the list of problems we faced
Very few wads available will hold that much shot
Canister grade STEEL powder will not give the same results as commercially available STEEL, Alliant 381, etc.
When we finally found a hull and wad combination that did work, we only got 40 fps faster velocities than factory loads and that was at or above max pressures for the 10 ga...11,500 psi or higher. Most of the factory 1 3/4 oz loads we tested were running in the 10,000 psi range so they must have been using different powder than we were.
Your much better off using 1 5/8 oz loads and not trying to duplicate 1 3/4 oz factory loads, the components available to reloaders just don't work well for it.
