Good buy on 20 ga coyote or goose loads!

The prices for these Win Xtended Range shells are pretty good if you compare them to Hevi-Shot prices.

I just ordered some more of the 3" 20 ga 1-1/16 oz #2 shot loads.

If you bought HW13 #2 shot and reloaded 1-1/16 oz 3" 20 ga loads just the shot would be $1.33 per shell. So $1.80 per loaded 3" 20 ga 1-1/16 oz shell is a decent buy at today's prices.

Is it free shipping?
Why do I shoot 3.5" for geese? Because they don't make a 4" yet!

Not free shipping.

They charged me $18.68 for shipping and a $1.95 handling fee. I didn't have to pay any sales tax though.

I sort of agree. Although I am sure it will put one down, it might not be enough. Its not the heavyweight so it is 10g/cc I believe.. please let me know if I am wrong on this. So it would be like shooting #4 lead, well between #4 and #2 lead. Not as heavy as lead, so below #2 lead for sure.

Might make a good long range duck/medium range goose load as it would be similar to shooting hevi-shot #4's.

I am pretty sure that Win Xtended range shot is 12g/cc. It says on the box that it is 55% denser than steel. Rem HD shot is 12g/cc and it says right on the box that Rem HD shot is 56% denser than steel.

I don't like lead #2s for coyotes but the Rem HD #2s smoke coyotes that are 45 yards away and less. I have killed quite a few coyotes with Rem HD #2s and they out perform lead #2s by quite a bit.

I have lots of Rem HD 3" 1-1/2 oz of BBs and a bunch of 3" 1-1/2 oz of Federal Heavyweight #2 shot loaded up. I like these Rem HD BBs and Federal Heavyweight #2s for coyotes over the Number 4 Buckshot and Tungsten T shot loads.

The Winchester Xtended Range 3" 1-1/16 oz 20 ga shells will be a very good 20ga load.

they must be about the same body weight/size as the wallabies we have here 5-40kg/10-90lb and lead #2 were ok but #BB was out standing. Ive killed them with #3s ...by far the best ammo of all we tried was winchester super X either in #2 or BB and yes deadly on giant canadas too

I was wrong, they are 12g/cc. They would make a decent coyote load for up close n personal shots.

Anyone know approx pellets per shell on that 20ga #2's?

According to the pellet chart Rem HD #2s have 81 pellets per ounce. So a 1-1/16 oz load would have around 84 to 86 #2 pellets per shell.
