More than likely a 6 mm will have 12 twist and your 308 will have a 9 twist but , to be sure just check it , its simple to do
by taking a cleaning rod and bronze brush , run it down the barrel engaging the rifling , mark the cleaning rod at the muzzle
end and as you pull it out the rod will rotate so the mark is on top again , measure between the marks for length of rotation
1 in 9" or 1 in 12" ect : Heavier bullets work better in faster rotating (twist) barrels .
