TUWSBL wads and #1 shot

Postby C M Wings » Sun Mar 23, 2014 4:12 pm

I have about 50 shells loaded with LS#15 and 421 gns of #1 shot. Based on some other posts I am asking is this is too much shot for the specified wad? If so, can someone point me in to a recipe I can use for #1s? I have SAM wads on hand, along with an assortment of Federal paper base wad, Remington STS and Nitros, and Winchester AA hulls.

Thanks

It's fine. Best way to know, of course, is to examine fired wads.
I do find it funny that folks are so concerned about barrel "damage" on a gun youre going to drag through a marsh. Then again, I've never owned a gun worth more then 500 bucks....
It's only sky busting if you miss...

If Kent trusts them for BBB why would you not for #1 or even T?

I'm with ya. I use tuwsbl32's for 1 1/4 oz loads. I figure I'll do the gun's moving parts in long before I get to the barrel.
Smell that? Smells like sumthin died in here.
