Well back from vaca and back to patterning. I went and shot some patterns with the new wingmaster and got a very nice surprise.

What do you guys think of these? 283 grains of 4 shot and 290 grains of 5 shot through the factory mod and laser ranged.

I see the fps on one of the #4 patterns, but I can't read it. What are the speeds of these two loads?
say what?

The 4 shot is 1465. The 5 shot I have increased the pay load by 17 grains and cut powder by 2 grains. I haven't chronoed it yet. I am gonna guess it's still 1400+ but will find out for sure when I have time to set up again.

Oh ya, not sure how far down you've read but this is all in seeking a short range 28 steel load.

I think I like this wingmaster. It might have potential.

I get the feeling the hw13 and hw15 will pattern like a slug with the factory mod though lol.

Well TSS will so that's why I use a Cyl tube up to 45 yards, sometimes for more pattern density at the longer ranges an IC but very rarely anything tighter.
