If you added everything up, there is no difference, really. Besides, if it were about dollars, you'd be shooting 2 3/4 inch. The difference in effective pattern diameter is measured in inches. The difference in effective range is measured in feet. The difference in perception to those that do not understand this is immeasurable! :lol3: :lol3: :lol3:

28 ga 7/8 oz 2-3/4"
12 ga 1 oz 2-3/4"
10 ga 1-1/4 oz 2-7/8"

I will probably shoot 3 inch once I turn 50. Until then I will always shoot 3.5". Probably because of my thick skull. :hammer:
