Usually two dozen or less. Many days less than a dozen.

Typically a dozen or less. Depends on where we hunt. I want the ability by next fall throw bigger spreads out.

around 20 for the lake, half doz for the river, and around 7 doz for the bay, so it just depends on where I am hunting.

we normally set out about 6 dozen. But when I hunt with a buddy I know we usually go all out and set out about 16 dozen. Its a bit rediculous but its kinda fun. One time we set out about 6 dozen and nothing would come in. So we shut off the mojo's and still nothing. So we threw out about another 3 dozen and a few started coming in, so we tossed out the remaining 7 dozen and we had birds pouring into us
If they weren’t meant to be eaten, then why are they made of meat?

Big water big spreads....small ponds smaller spreads...fields everything you can muster. I have 8 dozen duck decoys but depending on my hunting area I use enough for visibility but not to many as to not be able to cover my furthest decoy from incoming birds. On rivers and ponds I leave holes for landing zones but use enough blocks to make sure ducks passing can see them. So anywhere from 2 dozen to 16 dozen if I am hunting with my partners
