Custom MOJO/ROBO WING PATTERNS

Postby Vinnie » Tue Nov 16, 2004 4:18 pm

Has anyone heard of custom painting your mojo wings? I was talking today with a guy at the gun shop and he swore that by custom painting his wings he drew more ducks into his spread. his point was that everyone has the same factory pattern ((black, white, blue stripes) and that you could add more flash to the spread.

Any thoughts on patterns?

The only reason I would paint the wings on my lucky duck is if the paint chips off. I don't think it would bring in more ducks if you custom painted the wings.

I don't think detail on the wings of spinners matters. All that you need is for one side to be a dark color and the other side white. The flash is what attracts them.

:withstupid: That flash makes it look like the decoys is flying. That is what the ducks are looking for.
