Old mallards painted into gadwall and ringnecks!

Postby BigShotOutdoors » Thu Jan 24, 2013 7:09 pm

Well I had these old flambeau's laying around the house and decided to do something with them.. Since I have about 36 mallards, 6 wood ducks, a couple pintail, and a couple green wings.. I decided to do something that would be different. I painted these into gadwall and ringnecks. I think the white will add some flash to the spread..

Let me know what yall think!! :hi:

Ill add some more pictures because they said they were too big so ill have to crop them.

Well I got to use them this past weekend and threw out 12 mallards and the new ringnecks and the two gadwall.. I separated the groups to see what they'd prefer and we shot 6 shovelers, 2 ringnecks, a bufflehead, and a ruddy duck and they all decoyed into the new painted deeks.. I must say I am very pleased!
