I am just curious on what type of paint and colors would be best for repainting some hot buy mallards into these 2 species. I know there probably has been hundreds of posts on this. I am just looking for a little advice to get the paint and start working on them this off season.

Had some old life size ghg bluebill hens and painted one into a hen bufflehead looks amazing.

Use truck bedliner over the whole decoy, then brush rustoleum flat white oil paint. if you want the grey on the back, just mist the white with $1 rattle can flat black spray paint. First pic shows the grey on the back
