12 year old G&H Bluebill , touched up!

Postby Weedwacker » Wed Mar 13, 2013 12:35 pm

Decided to touch up some of my decoys that needed, well some "pop" as the paint was getting dull.

These are just 2 of the 6 hens, will now start on the drakes next.

Great decoys, use them every year since 2001 when I bought them new.

Looks sharp, gotta love G&H. At least the old ones. Some of the new ones look like they were painted by a drunk monkey.

They look a tad shiney. You gonna' hit 'em with some flat clear?

Yes I am , when weather warms up. Also the lighting is very un natual in this pic. Also have not painted the brown areas yet.

Here is my test drake, no green on head yet.

Decided to mix some paint and add green to head, calling it done now on the drakes.
