Cheaper Mallards

Postby Honk-n-quack » Tue May 28, 2013 12:02 pm

I am looking for some somewhat decent mallard duck decoys and some pintail decoys to add to my spread. My choices are Flambeau and RedHead. Which one of these brands are better? I planned on getting stormfront classic mallards and pintails and clear coating them. Or I would get these Redhead decoys and glue on the keel and clear coat them. http://www.basspro.com/RedHead-Floating ... _THUMBNAIL (link to redheads)

Which choice do you think would be better. I'm looking at getting a dozen mallards and half a dozen pintails.

The Flambeau StormFront mallards are gargoyles....the StormFront Pintails are awesome. I bought a dozen pintails to fill out my spread of GHG pintails and the SF's are better than the GHG.

I've never seen a Redhead decoy that was worth a nickel.
