Help Identifying decoys

Postby Bullfrog26692 » Mon Jul 08, 2013 6:55 pm

Picked these up from a guy who said he bought them from a guy in Virginia Beach. Not much of a lead unfortunately. They are foam with plastic heads. Are these Herter heads? The decoys are stamped in the lead "JOHN COFFEL". Couldn't find anything on Google. I'm assuming they are a homemade garage project. What do you guys think?

The mallard looks like a Herter's. The Black may be one of the homemade decoys, made with the old Decoys Unlimited molds.
The heads are either Herter's or a very good copy.
