Herter's Millenium Decoys

Postby Ducks22 » Tue Sep 17, 2013 7:10 am

Looking for a little input:

I have about 6 dozen of these that kinda feel into my lap through a couple aquisitions and I really dont need or want them, they are used and some are faded and could use a paint job. Any idea on what a fair price would be for these? Also got 4 doz herters foam geese not sure on model and do not want these either. Thanks for the help

I think those Millenium deeks are foam right? As for those and the geese, I know a lot of guys would love to burlap them and clean them up. If you can truly spare them, maybe find some newbies to donate them too or put them on Craigs List and make a few bucks. They are good deeks to clean up and get good use out of

There are ALWAYS crappy ones on local Craigs List....and a TON of great tips on priming and painting them...or burlapping them.
Keep your eye on CL and see if you can get some deals....wire brush them down, spray prime, do your best to learn to paint them and you are in the game....
OR
Put the word out with the family for Christmas, Father's Day and BDays....you will score a bunch quickly that way

Ebay them. Lots of folks are looking for those decoys and will pay pretty well for them sometimes.
