Beautiful job on the decoys! Please tell us more, I'd like to know where you purchased the flocking kit, approximate time involved, and anything else that you think would be helpful and are willing to share.
I have flocking here from both Aero Outdoors and from FlockIt (Donjer). FlockIt is cheaper when ordering in 5 lbs or more. Aero Outdoors has some really nice colors. I just got some wet sand and dry sand color from Aero for specs and really like it when applied with brown Rustoleum. I think it might work well for hen pintails and some other birds too. The flocking part doesn't take long. What takes time is waiting for paint or glue to dry. Just don't rush things. Do your flocking over a large, shallow plastic bin so you can recover what doesn't stick to the bird. Use a hand-held sifter to apply the flocking. I do two coats of flocking and use Rustoleum for the "glue".
Those look nice! What brand flocking did u use? I'm redoing some of mine right now also an flocking them! I didn't strip mine just cleaned good an than put the glue on followed by flocking. I used flocking from Aero Outdoors but bought bulk instead of kits to save a little money.
Both Aero and from FlockIt (Donjer). Either will work.
