I was just wandering if anybody has any preference on using hen or drake spinning wing decoys.

The man that started them told me that if you use the drake it's just that a drake mallard. The hen resembles hens of a bunch of species from pintails to gadwalls.

I think I would go with a drake because I would show up better because it is lighter colors.
